Canada 150 years later

Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.  It’s been 150 years since Confederation so for Canada that translate into its 150th birthday. It wasn’t until July 1, pharm 1867 that four provinces would join to become the Dominion of Canada, with the rest joining over years to come with Nunavut joining in 1999, actually making Canada just 18. Or if you want to look to Canada’s constitution at the date when it became a country that wasn’t patriated until 1982 creating Canadian sovereignty that basically finally gave  Canada the power  to amend their Constitution without getting Mama Britains approval, and that would make the country 34 years old. Then there is the fact that once the Constitution Act of 1982 came into being so did the Charter of Rights…
