Good old boys…girls & cronyism?

Six Nations Band Council has approved paying the tuition for their colleague to attend a principal’s course in Toronto later this year. Now it isn’t much. The public dollars add up to $350 for tuition, but as councillor Wray Maracle said its public dollars being spent to allow a band councillor to attend a course that will deliver a certificate adding up to a case of professional enhancement at the cost of public dollars. In other circles it might be called cronyism.
