Crowd of all ages out looking for jobs at job fair

Over 200 people attended the job fair.

And Seneca John, 18, from Akwesasne walked out of GREAT’S job fair at the Six Nations community hall Thursday with a big smile and a potential job. He talked with LiUNA, the Labourers International Union of North America who are headhunting for future construction and trades workers, to replace the aging population. The fair was flooded with 260 students, youth and adults looking for a career change and dropped by the 43 booths at GREAT’s annual job fair looking for everything from summer jobs to part time openings to career possibilities.
