Fentanyl laced drug takes life of one man, hospitalizes second

By Lynda Powless Editor Six Nations Police are still investigating whether cocaine laced with fentanyl is behind the death of one man and hospitalization of a second. Emergency responders were called to a Fourth Line Road home last Wednesday, (February 8th), at 12:00 p.m after home owners discovered a guest, they believed was sleeping, had succumbed to a possible drug overdose. Ambulance and paramedics were on scene when police arrived. Emergency responders found a 39 year old, deceased male, in the house. Investigators were advised by a resident of the house and friend of the deceased, that he had been a guest at the residence for the past 2 weeks.
