New Credit man assault in home robbery

MISSISSAUGA’S NEW CREDIT – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment is investigating a robbery  that saw a homeowner injuried after being  assaulted with a weapon by an intruder at a Second Line, Mississauga’s of the New Credit First Nation, Ontario address. On Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 12:15 p.m., OPP, Six Nations Police Service and Haldimand County paramedics responded to Second Line for a robbery at a residence where it was reported that a male victim had been beaten and was found on the floor inside his residence. The male victim was found by a friend who had called police upon making the discovery.
