Making a statement during NAIG lacrosse tryouts

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter No doubt there will be some tough decisions to make when putting together the Team Ontario’s final lacrosse roster. After three intense separate tryouts, which had young up and coming athletes chasing that ultimate dream of winning NAIG lacrosse gold by trying out for either the U-19 Boys, U-19 Girls and U-16 Boys squad, it’s now time for them to play the waiting game and see if they have indeed survived roster cuts. Recently, after that third tryout which was held at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, Team Ontario Lacrosse manager Amy Babcock-Dejonge replied, “We had about 75 kids out today and we can only take 45 kids for all three teams.
