North American Native Sisters are fundraising down the final stretch to New Zealand

By Christopher Pimentel Writer Ohsweken, Ontario- Burgers, hotdogs, volleyball and of course a lot of support for the North American Native Sisters fast pitch baseball team. The team held a fundraiser to help fund their trip to the World Games in New Zealand. Over 15 teams registered for the event on Saturday, March 4th. It cost each team $150 to register for the day and they were divided into two divisions, recreational and competitive. The North American Native Sisters needs $95,000 to fund the trip and going into Saturday they’ve raised just over $65,000. However, between the registration, the scratch ticket, and the games that was going on they expected to put a dent into the target goal.
