By Neil Becker Sports News Upon closely inspecting her medal, OMSK athlete Lileigh Johnson broke into a wide grin before stating, “I feel like a champion. This feels pretty darn good.” Competing at the much anticipated Six Nations school junior badminton tournament, Johnson was in a giddy mood when reflecting on her accomplishments which included sweeping Emily C. General opponent Lily Rae Maracle in championship play to officially strike gold in this year’s girls badminton singles division. When asked what she liked best about badminton Johnson without missing a beat replied before laughing, “That you get to hit something.” Also proudly wearing a medal was Jamieson Elementary School’s own Devan Lickers who achieved gold in the single boy’s circuit by making a statement on the court with some high pressured…
