By Neil Becker Sports News Building friendships, creating life long memories and learning fundamental skills is what Six Nations Novice 2 lacrosse is all about. Recently the Novice 2 squad were enthusiastically tackling various drills while getting some strong words of encouragement from coach Delby Powless and his staff. “My personal opinion is that they are 9 and 10 year-olds, so the focus for me is to help them learn the game and develop skills, but try to make it as fun as possible for the kids,” Powless said. “At the end of the day it’s youth sports and I think youth sports are supposed to be fun.” Judging from the smiles and constant laughter it’s safe to say that it was mission accomplished for Powless who has a specific…
