Barn Fire on Chiefswood Road, was site of Tashina General’s death

A barn, the site of the horrendous death of a pregnant Six Nations woman, was burned to the ground last week. The Six Nations fire department responded to a call at 155 Chiefswood Road where a barn was burning. The fire destroyed the barn. Cause of the fire was not released. The property is the site of where Tashina General, a young Six Nations woman was killed and her body hidden for seven months Kent Owen Hill. Hill pled guilty to manslaughter last year in her strangling death. He served eight years and seven months before being released last November. Hill killed Tashina in a rage and hid her body overnight in a barn court was told, coming back the next day to bury her on in the bush behind…
