Arrows get last laugh against Orangeville

By Neil Becker Sports News There’s no describing that strong excitement of defeating the Orangeville Northmen. Shortly after scoring a hat-trick and getting four points in a Six Nations Arrows 8-1 win against the defending Senior ‘A’ lacrosse champions, a grinning Austin Staats replied, “For sure,” when asked if there is an extra sweet feeling to beating Orangeville. “It left a sour taste in our mouth after they swept us. (in last year’s playoffs). We want to let them know that they can’t beat us.” So far, that message has been delivered loud and clear as the Arrows, who were swept in last year’s Junior ‘A’ finals, have now defeated them in two out of two regular season games including a 10-2 decision back on June 9th in Orangeville. “I…
