U-19 lacrosse girls accomplish NAIG silver

By Neil Becker Sports News While proudly wearing her Team Ontario U-19 lacrosse silver medal, Shkuhnodin Shoynosh-Myers got a little emotional while reflecting on her team’s experience particpating at the North American Indigenous Games. “I am so proud to be on this team,” she said moments after Team Ontario dropped a hard fought 4-3 gold medal championship game against Eastern Door & the North at the ILA. “We’ll definitely all keep in touch through group chat. In terms of Team Ontario’s silver medal accomplishment, Shoynosh-Myers replied, “We accomplished a lot. We made history and I’m so glad we did it here in Ontario and not some other province.
