Six Nations make statement at All Ontario Native Fastball Championships

After pulling off a dramatic 7-5 championship win against the Ohsweken Mohawks to strike All Ontario Native Fastball Championship Women’s Master Division gold, there was a lot of excitement along with tears being shed. “It was a very emotional win,” Sour Springs head coach Tony Johnson said. “Last year, we played at the All Ontario in Rama and we had our assistant coach Stephanie Restoule.” Unfortunately the Sour Springs Masters squad along with the Six Nations community suffered a tremendous blow as Restoule passed away this year. “We were all saying at the beginning of the tournament, we’re playing for Steph.
