By Neil Becker Sports News Judging from the fluidness, patience and athleticism of Brantford Minor Peewee defenseman Dayton Martin; it’s safe to say that he really made an impression during what was that much anticipated opening exhibition game against Waterloo. “Dayton really controls the play and it’s really hard to beat him,” Brantford Minor Peewee coach Corey Waring said following what was a 5-2 win. “He’s one of our better players on ‘D’.” Coach Waring also had some strong praise for another reliable defenseman in Anthony Martin who also showed no off-season rust in his performance. “Anthony is a solid stay at home defenseman,” Waring said. “It’s so tough to beat him and he’s just so solid back there.” Following a series of stellar saves from both goalies, Dayton Martin…
