Riding that strong momentum of winning their first five President Cup tournament games, the confident Rivermen went on to win seven of their first eight games before that ultimate quest of Triumphally hoisting the Presidents Cup came to an end in what was a heartbreaking 7-6 loss against the St. Albert Miners. “This just motivates me more to win a Presidents in the future,” Rivermen forward Layne Smith said.
