Blue Devils’ Lennox Mitten impresses in gridiron debut

Coming off a successful lacrosse campaign with the Six Nations Jr. ‘C’ Warriors, Mitten who is a Grade 12 student at McKinnon Park, decided to give high school senior football a try where he definitely made a solid impression during what was a 36-20 win against Valley Heights. “Friends talked me into it,” Mitten, who was playing free- safety said. “I was a little nervous but I kept my composure during the game and stuck to the game plan.” Taking that first step into a season which is full of sky high expectations McKinnon Park, who won Zone Championship and SOSSA last year before bowing out in the OFSAA Bowl Game found themselves in…
