Competing for School Cross Country gold By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter No words could adequately describe that heart- warming moment when a smiling Tatum Hill received a thunderous ovation upon crossing that finish line at the Six Nations school cross country event. Upon receiving a medal for finishing what was called The Amazing Race, Hill, who is a Grade 2 student at OMSK, enthusiastically proclaimed, “Wow I won. I want to go again.” This kind of positive reaction naturally had a heartwarming effect on the teachers, including OMSK principal Travis Anderson who was coordinating these races down at Chiefswood Park. “He loved it,” Anderson said about Hill participating and getting a medal for The Amazing Race. “He will be wearing that medal for several days in a row.” Overall, it…
