Six Nations Food Bank need growing

By: Chris Pimentel Writer The holiday season is fast approaching, and that means that the Six Nations Food Bank is expected to have more visitors according to Mary Monture, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Six Nations Food Bank. “We are expecting more visitors in the coming months compared to what we have already received,” said Monture. In a presentation to the Six Nations Elected Council on Tuesday, Monture along with Ellen Rose and Missy Davis provided an update for Councillors who were in attendance. During the 2016-2017 fiscal year, there was a total of 7572 food boxes that were handed out that fed 5162 people in Six Nations.
