COLUMN: SNEC unity at its peril

Kris Hill, a Six Nations community member, grateful for the services fire and paramedics provide to the Six Nations community decided to show that appreciation by donating $10,000 to the two organizations. Now, normally that would be considered a wonderfully gracious gesture and the media would be called for a photo op. Not at Six Nations. Instead generosity gets you slammed. Learning of the donation the Six Nations Band Council’s head minion Dayle Bomberry rushed to intervene and take the money and email around to council members that they can’t accept the donation it might end up in court. Now what could possibly end up in court? Kris Hill’s generosity to a fire department…
