Novice B Rep Ice Cats showing strong passion By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter The enthusiastic laughter and spirited high fives coming from the Brantford Novice B Rep Ice Cats players, is what minor hockey is all about. Shortly after pulling out an entertaining 3-1 home win against the Ancaster Avalanche, the Ice Cats which includes the dynamic duel of Tenley Squire and Farah Garlow, were still all smiles upon exiting their Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre dressing room. Reflecting on what they like about hockey Garlow, who played forward in this game but sometimes plays goalie said, “Being a goalie and making a shutout.” After a slight pause she also added, “Getting a goal.” Meanwhile Garlow, who set up some quality scoring chances and made some strong defensive plays never even…
