Looking to snap a five-game losing skid the Blast got some clutch goal tending from Brett Leggat, who stared down 40 shots in what was a 1-0 road win against the Hamilton Steelhawks. “We needed to get a win to stay within reaching distance of 3rd and 4rh place,” Blast leading scorer forward Cameron Sault said. “It was good to come away with the points on the road for sure.” Playing an improved Hamilton team, Brantford got a second period shorthanded goal from Joel Prpic which stood up as the eventual winner. “Leggat played great for us again in net,” Sault said. “And our penalty killing was perfect.” Sault also commented, “Hamilton has…
