Sports Brief: Adam Henrique traded to Ducks

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter New Jersey Devils general manager sent shockwaves around the NHL with a blockbuster trade which involved a fan favourite in 27 year-old forward Adam Henrique. Henrique, who was drafted by New Jersey 82nd overall in the 2008 Entry Draft was sent along with teammate Joseph Blandisi and third round 2018 draft choice to the Anaheim Ducks for blue liner Sami Vatanen and a conditional 2019 or 2020 draft choice. “It’s a tough thing, a real fan favourite here, on and off the ice, Devils general manager Ray Shero said.
