Sports Brief: Sabres’ Jordan Nolan making solid impression

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter So far Buffalo Sabres coach Phil Housley has been impressed by what he has seen from forward Jordan Nolan. “I like the way he attacks the game,” Housley said. “He’s using his speed, he’s getting the opportunity, he’s controlling the puck down low in the offensive zone, he’s willing to go to the net. He brings a physical element to the game as well.” Nolan, who back on September 28th was picked up off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings was recently promoted at practice to a line with Ryan O’Reilly and Kyle Okposo.
