Blast hold 15th annual Teddy Bear Toss

Following the Brantford Blast first goal, fans threw out Teddy Bears in what was the 15th annual Culligan Water Teddy Bear Toss event .

Brantford Blast Annual Teddy Bear Toss By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter In celebrating what was the 15th annual Culligan Water Brantford Blast Teddy Bear toss, fans came to the Brantford Civic Centre armed with stuffed bears which they threw following the first Blast goal which was scored by Mark Taylor in what was an eventual 5-3 loss against the Whitby Dunlops. ‘’It’s always good to see the support we get from the fans on Teddy Bear Toss night,” Blast veteran forward and leading scorer Cameron Sault said. “The amount of bears and toys that go to the kids in need is something special for both our hockey club and the community.” Following an approximate five minute delay as players and staff bagged the toys which are to be distributed to…
