Lady Snipers set to make season debut

By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter These are exciting times for The Arena Lacrosse League who have made history by creating what promises to be a highly competitive women’s division for this upcoming season. Teams from Paris, Peterborough, possibly St. Catharines and the Six Nations Snipers will all be competing and trying to create some team history by becoming the first ever women division champions. Despite frigid temperatures the Six Nations Snipers, who kick off what is an eight games regular season on Saturday, January 6th, with a 2 p.m. game at the ILA, showed their true commitment when approximately 20 players showed up on December 30th for what was their first team practice.
