(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 28-year-old male and a 29-year-old female with drug related offences following a traffic stop at a Jarvis, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Thursday December 28, 2017 at 10:55 a.m., members of the Haldimand County OPP Street Crime Unit stopped a motor vehicle as a result of an ongoing investigation.
Through the course of investigation and search of the motor vehicle, a quantity of illicit drugs were located inside the vehicle.
OPP has charged 28-year-old Matthew HARVEY of Jarvis, Haldimand County, Ontario and 29-year-old Kirbie WAMSLEY of Port Dover, Norfolk County, Ontario with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Cocaine)
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Marihuana)
Both are to appear in Provincial Court Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
