By Lynda Powless Editor Drug enforcement is the number one priority for Six Nations Police in 2018. Six Nations Police Chief Glenn Lickers said “Drug enforcement is a priority for us. It has to be. It is at the root of the majority of the deaths and crime we are seeing in the community.” He said “drugs have been involved in every major occurrence we have investigated. So given the opportunity, I want to see us commit more resources to drug enforcement this year.” In a new year interview with Turtle Island News he said 2017 saw the beginning of prioritizing drug enforcement. “But with the major investigations we had they tied up a lot of resources, so we didn’t roll out drug enforcement as much as I would have liked.”…
