Six Nations Police Searching For Man Wanted In Aggravated Assault

On Saturday January 6th 2018, at 7:50 am Six Nations Police Officers attended a Moccasin Trail residence, on the Six Nations Territory, in response to a report of an unconscious male lying in the snow covered in blood.

 

Police located a 43 year old Six Nations man outside of the residence who appeared to have been severely beaten.  The man was transported to hospital to receive medical treatment for his injuries.  The victim underwent surgery and is recovering in the hospital.

 

Investigators determined that the victim and the accused had been together in the residence.  The victim fell asleep and that is when the assault occurred.  The accused used “brass knuckles” during the assault.  The victim was also robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.

 

The accused has been identified as Michael Shane Jamieson (31 years) of Ohsweken.  Jamieson is described as approximately 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 212 lbs, with a medium complexion.  He has brown eyes and brown hair.

 

Mr. Jamieson is charged with Robbery and Aggravated assault.  Jamieson currently remains at large.  Police are actively trying to locate him.
