When a storm hits…stay home or be prepared

By: Chris Pimentel Writer A major snow storm was expected to hit Six Nations last weekend but thanks to a bit of warm weather the snow turned to rain. The change of weather doesn’t mean that Six Nations Public Works won’t be prepared for the inclement weather. Public works has to be ready for temperatures this winter hitting -15C and Flood Warnings. As a precaution for the snow and icy weather Director of Public Works, Michael Montour provided tips on how you can be prepared for the inclement weather. “If you have to be on the road drive according to weather conditions and equip your vehicle with winter tires.
