VEHICLE COLLIDES WITH HYDRO POLE

 

On Saturday, January 20th, 2018, at 7:45 AM., Six Nations Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Chiefswood Road, south of 2nd Line Road.

 

Officers arrived to find a black Chevrolet Silverado truck in the east ditch.  The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was still in the vehicle when police arrived.

 

The truck appeared to have been southbound on Chiefswood Road when it left the roadway and entered the east ditch.  The truck came in contact with a driveway causing it to go airborne and then collide with a hydro pole.  The hydro pole broke in 2 places.  The vehicle was completely destroyed.  The driver suffered cuts and abrasions and was transported to West Haldimand General Hospital by ambulance.

 

Glenn Richard Sault (54 years) is charged with Careless Driving.
