Doolittle sentencing delayed

BRANTFORD-Clinton Doolittle, who was found guilty of dangerous operation of a vehicle in the death of Jolene Styres-Doxtater has had his sentencing delayed. Defense Lawyer Gerry Smits told the court Monday there has been a delay in the Gladue report. A Gladue report is a type of pre-sentencing and bail hearing report that a Canadian court can request when considering sentencing an offender of Aboriginal background under Section 718.2(e) of the Criminal Code. Justice Andrew Goodman said that Justice Alan Whitten will hear his sentencing on July 9th….
