Six Nations Councillor’s car torched

By Chris Pimentel Writer Six Nations Elected Councillor Melba Thomas was out of town when she received a message from a friend that something was wrong at her house. “I got an email from a friend saying that my car was on fire in front of my house,” said Councillor Thomas. She was out of town on a personal trip at the time and decided to leave her car outside to show that someone was home. Councillor Thomas admitted that she has dealt with three previous break in attempts in the past and thought it was a good idea. The second call came from her son Greg Thomas who said he got a message from Bill Porter saying that her car was on fire in the driveway. Thomas said that…
