Six Nations Elected Council Briefs

Tribute to ABBA Cancer Benefit Show The Six Nations Elected Council has spent $650 on a block of 10 tickets to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Benefit show called “A Tribute to ABBA”. There was an option to spend $2,000 on a marquee sponsorship, but Elected Chief Ava Hill said that they should spent money on people from Six Nations to attend the concert. “We should sponsor people from Miles to Go, from our own community to go. That’s just my feeling,” said Elected Chief Hill. She also asked Councillor Wray Maracle if people would want to go, and he said that he would think that people would be interested.
