Thome doesn’t want Chief Wahoo on HOF plaque

By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter Jim Thome has made it clear that on his Cooperstown plaque, he doesn’t want it to have him with a Chief Wahoo logo on his cap. Thome, who played 13 of his 22 major league baseball seasons with the Cleveland Indians, and will be inducted into Cooperstown during the July 27-30th weekend went on to say recently, “I know my decision would be to wear the ‘C’ because I think it’s the right thing to do.
