Reconciliation workshops planned

By: Chris Pimentel Writer Six Nations Polytechnic is launching a workshop series at the end of the month with the focus on reconciliation and understanding the relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups within the City of Brantford through a modern and historical lens. The workshop idea emerged from the Bundled Arrows Initiative. Taina Lickers-Smith who is the Initiatives Manager at Six Nations Polytechnic said that these workshops can be an effective way that can lead to reconciliation. “The series was developed as a result of conversations with different agencies in the community of Brantford around the appropriate ways that people could learn about reconciliation.
