Snowy, icey roads lead to accidents

By: Chris Pimentel Writer It was a busy weekend for Six Nations Police who dealt with five separate car accidents on slippery roads. On Friday February 9th at 4:35 P.M., Six Nations Police responded to a car rollover at Sixth Line and Tuscarora Road. Police found a brown 2000 Mazda SUV on its roof, on the front lawn of a residence. Police spoke with the driver and learned that the vehicle was westbound on Sixth Line Road when the driver lost control on the icy road. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled over coming to rest on its roof on the lawn of a nearby residence. Neither the driver or his female passenger suffered injuries, police said.
