District 5 gets new councillor

By Chris Pimentel Writer Kerry Bomberry is returning to the Six Nations Elected Council after a landslide victory in the District Five by-election Saturday ( Feb., 24). Bomberry won with a vote count of 71 to 17 over Nick Wyman. Bomberry, who said he is a man of few words, said “I’ve got a lot of work to do”. Bomberry hopes to build off his campaign promises to try and unite the Elected Council and the Six Nations community. “Well I’ve got a lot of reading to do, and see how council operates.
