By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter It was a storybook season full of great accomplishments for the McKinnon Park Jr. Blue Devils, who fell just short of that ultimate goal of becoming SOSSA champs. Showing his strong optimism shortly after the Jr. Blue Devils lost that SOSSA championship game by a 66-40 score against St. Francis, McKinnon Park athletic director Brad McPherson enthusiastically replied, “I’m really proud of these guys. We went undefeated in regular season, won the zone championship against Dunnville and we had a chance to play for a SOSSA championship. It was a good season.” Having home court advantage, the Jr. Blue Devils, who in the morning defeated Hamilton District Christian High School, to stamp their ticket to afternoon championship play, were led offensively in the first quarter…
