Six Nations Reclamation marks 12th anniversary

It’s been 12 years since a group of women brought Six Nations land rights into the national spotlight and while there was a small group of women that continue to walk during the anniversary of the event, the message still remains the same… they are not leaving. Doreen Silversmith was one of the women involved from the beginning in 2006. “As long as this land is unsettled we are not going anywhere,” said Silver Smith. Joining her was another woman who was at the site from 2006.
