Six Nations Jr C Warriors hold contact drills during tryouts.

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter After a series of intense tryouts, the Six Nations Jr. ‘C’ Warriors hopefuls will have their first crucial test during that much anticipated Six Nations Pre Season showcase. “I hope to see teamwork, no fear and a lot of grinding,” Warriors coach Jay Smith said about the upcoming showcase. “Playing against the Rebels will put them to the test. I hope to see some fire and drive.” Reflecting on what have been four up tempo tryout practices to date Smith commented that his coaching staff, which includes Kyle Jamieson who will be handling defensive duties and Darcy Powless to handle the offensive side, were looking for what he termed “Lacrosse smarts.” In elaborating Smith went on to add, “Players that are willing to learn, and…
