Celebrating accomplishments at Six Nations Minor Hockey banquet By Neil Becker Sports Reporter Clutching his Novice Rep Most Improved trophy, Ryan Davis Jr. broke into a wide grin when asked at the Six Nations Minor hockey banquet what he likes best about hockey. Without missing a beat Davis enthusiastically said “Scoring” before adding, “I just want to play and I like scoring and passing.” That passion, which was shown by all players, along with making friends and of course good sportsmanship, is what minor hockey is all about. Davis, who is a big fan of Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Frederick Anderson, and has been playing hockey for two years, admitted to be really looking forward to this banquet. “I was excited to get a trophy,” he said.
