Such was the case for a smiling 10 year-old Kali Sowden who capped off her hockey season in storybook fashion with her Brantford Ice Cats clinching the Atom Rep ‘C’ Championship with a 1-1 tie against St. Marys in a four point championship format. “I feel happy,” Sowden said about winning her first ever hockey championship trophy. Along with winning Sowden mentioned “Meeting new people,” as a highlight to playing this season with the Ice Cats.
