In what has started off to be a magical summer run the Rebels who are chasing their first Founders Cup since 2014 recently swept away the weekend competition starting with a Friday night home 16-9 win against the Guelph Regals followed a day later by an 11-10 road squeaker verses a resilient Windsor Clippers squad. “I was really happy with how we played on Friday,” Rebels coach Miles General said. “I was happy with the penalties, I mean there is always room for improvements.” General, who stressed this year that he’s not judging the games by the scores went on to add, “Saturday night (against Windsor) was awesome.
