Six Nations shows appreciation to First Responders with breakfast

By Chris Pimentel Writer On May 1st across the country, people were celebrating First Responders Day in order to give thanks to those who are first on the scene during emergency calls. At Six Nations the Elected Council provided their first responders with a breakfast for the third consecutive year. With a majority of Councillors in Ottawa, it was Councillor Helen Miller who took the lead with the event this year and began by thanking all the departments who attended. “Council decided to have these breakfasts to honour all the hard work and sacrifice that you all had,” said Councillor Helen Miller.
