Arrows drop season opener By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter Naturally expectations were high for the defending Minto Cup champions Six Nations Arrows. After fans at the ILA were given that opportunity to once more salute last year’s team and watch the championship banner being unveiled, it was time to turn the page and start step one of that ultimate quest of defending the Minto Cup. “It’s always a good time when we have the Minto in the house,” Arrows president Landon Miller said. “We have a lot of young guys this year. We lost a bunch and have a bunch of new talented players coming in.” The long weekend didn’t have a storybook ending for the Arrows and their fans as they began the regular season with a 5-2 loss…
