By: Neil Becker Sports Reporter Shortly after having that gold medal put around his neck, LSK student athlete Julius Brown was at a loss for words about his track and field accomplishments. Standing beside his mom and LSK teacher Katharine Brown, you can see the excitement and emotion in his face as he reflected on what was a magical Six Nations track and field districts performance which saw this modest Grade 7 athlete collect first place finishes in the 100m, 200m and running long jump before experiencing the ultimate of hearing his name being announced for that right to proudly wear that gold medal for emerging as the overall Intermediate boy’s track and field division winner. “The 100 was my favourite,” Brown said. “Actually I didn’t think that I would…
