Masters Indigenous Games

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter The anticipation is building! Athletes will be making history this month with the kick off of the inaugural 2018 Masters Indigenous Games. In Toronto from July 12th to the 15th, Indigenous athletes who are 20 years and older will be venturing from across North America in order to not only compete against peers in sports games but also to make life long friends and create memories while celebrating Indigenous wellness and the Indigenous culture of Turtle Island. The Masters Indigenous Games will feature sporting competition in track events including sprints, long distance running, relays, javelin, discus, shot put, high jump, long jump, triple jump and cross country running.
