Iroquois Nationals facing passport issues …again

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter TORONTO-It’s been a frustrating time for the Iroquois Nationals Team whose flight to Israel for the 2018 FIL Men’s World Lacrosse Championships was delayed due to passport issues. But the team is expected to fly out today, (Wednesday July 11) “The Federation of International Lacrosse is working to assist the Iroquois Nationals and the Israel Organizing Committee to resolve this issue,” FIL President Sue Redfern said. The event is scheduled to take place at Wingate National Sport Institution and Netanya Stadium starting July 12 to the 21st, “FIL would very much like to assure the presence of the Iroquois Nationals at the 2018 FIL Men’s World Championship.” Currently the Host Committee for the event, and the FIL are working in harmony with the Iroquois Nationals…
