By Neil Becker Sports Reporter With first place up for grabs, the Six Nations Rivermen picked a perfect time to get on a roll. Finding themselves in a real battle with the Oakville Titans for the first overall position, Six Nations enjoyed an undefeated weekend. They first pulled off a Friday night 12-9 home win against the KW Velocity before travelling 24 hours later to Owen Sound where they grabbed a 7-5 win against the Stars. “These games are always tough,” Rivermen’s leading scorer Brendan Muise, who had a five- point game against KW said. “We had a big loss last weekend and haven’t started well and tonight we came out and gave the ‘D’ an early lead and got the win.” Six Nations, who seven days earlier dropped a…
