Rebels suffer heartbreaking Game 5 playoff loss

By Neil Becker Sports Reporter The ultimate quest for Founders Cup glory came to a heartbreaking end for the Six Nations Rebels. In what was a suspenseful five game series between two evenly matched teams, it was only fitting that the Western Finals would come down to that final game where the Elora Mohawks broke the hearts of all Rebels fans by scoring what was the ultimate series winner with only a minute remaining in what was a 9-8 win. Six Nations, who in regular season play finished three points ahead of Elora had Rebels Nation pumped after coming off playoff sweeps against St. Catharines Spartans and their main rivals the Orangeville Northmen prior to facing that ultimate challenge of the Mohawks.
